Through this initiative, the Faculty of Education, in partnership with the Centre for Student Health and Wellness (C-SHAW), is raising funds to provide cervical cancer screenings for UJ students, while also delivering sustainable solutions to period poverty for young learners.

At just R200 per screening, your contribution directly supports students’ access to essential healthcare and helps create long-term dignity solutions for schoolgirls who too often miss classes due to a lack of menstrual products.

Your support does more than provide screenings and sanitary solutions — it empowers young women to safeguard their health, continue their education, and pursue their futures without preventable barriers. In doing so, you are helping UJ protect potential, promote equity, and build lasting change.
